I’m continually amazed at the beauty of this planet. There is none like it that we know of. From the beautiful shades of blue with the wisps of white clouds flowing around the globe, and as you look closer, the shades of green of the trees and plants, the whites and dark grays of the snow capped mountains, and shades of red and gray and brown of other mountain ranges canyons, and deserts. The greens, tans and browns of the land with clear blue and white water flowing over it all. The majesty of earth’s beauty is a wonder.
My greatest joy is to enhance life by creating, molding and forming landscapes with a cornucopia of plants, dirt, rocks and concrete, thus building little places of beauty with seasonal color changes. This is my life’s joy and work.

When I was young (60's), I was interested in the new thing out - Solar Energy. This was the start of my interest in the environment. Later I worked in a local Nursery and in high school took drafting classes. My father was a contractor, so I always saw construction blue prints. While in college my interest was in art, photography and business. During those years I got involved in a start-up landscaping company with some people. The first year they didn’t do much and the second year I took over sales and tripled their income. They sold the company and equipment to me the third year. After I finished school, I operated the business full time.
Initially I worked commercial construction jobs with my experience from working in the nursery I noticed how construction landscape plans did not take into account the growth of the plants and consequently things where designed inappropriately. Also I saw homeowners compulsively buy plants without considering future growing patterns.
Early on I focused on planting with consideration for growth, which if not done right, can look unfinished and bare. So I started to incorporate larger plants, that still prepares for the future and also looks good now. I learned through the landscaping help and advice from others
My Theory of proper landscape design is Form, Function and Simplicity. My Formula in creating proper landscape is Foundation + Balance = Structure. My formula brings harmony to the landscape as it precisely fits the structure it dresses. Also, while blending all these elements, my formula adapts seasonal color changes with specific flowering trees & plants. When all elements are combined properly, the result is a beautiful landscape that fits the home. Unlike other poorly planned landscape designs, mine are not over-powering or crowded, and also changes throughout the year, giving the homeowner a fresh and eye-catching landscape every season.
